Step 2 — Free Site Inspection

If underpinning looks likely, we’ll schedule a free on-site inspection. This typically takes 45–90 minutes and includes:

• Visual inspection of all visible damage (internal and external walls, floors, doors, windows)
• Sub-floor inspection where accessible (checking stumps, bearers, joists, existing footings)
• Assessment of soil conditions, drainage, and any contributing factors (tree proximity, plumbing leaks, ground slope)
• Measurement of crack widths and floor levels to quantify the movement
• Discussion of what we’ve found, what it means, and what options you have

We’ll also take photos and notes to support a detailed quote. There’s no obligation — if you decide to get other quotes or not proceed at all, that’s completely fine.

Step 3 — Fixed-Price Written Quote

Within a few days of the inspection, you’ll receive a detailed written quote that includes:

• The recommended underpinning method and why we’ve chosen it
• A clear scope of work: exactly what we’ll do, where, and how
• A fixed price — this is the price you’ll pay, not a “starting from” estimate
• Expected timeline from start to completion
